STRONGER VIBRATIONS IN A SMALLER SIZED SINGING BOWL!

Every vibroacoustic bowl is meticulously hand-hammered from premium Bell Bronze in our Nepalese foundry, crafted to exact specifications. Special attention is given to the precise wall and base thicknesses, allowing the vibrations to flow downward and into the body. The result is a bowl that delivers significantly stronger vibrations than traditional Himalayan singing bowls.

The primary purpose of vibroacoustic bowls is for on the body use, where their soothing vibrations can be directly felt. With a gentle tap, each bowl sends warm, calming waves through the nervous system, like a gentle lullaby. These tones primarily resonate in the low second octave, creating a deeply grounding and relaxing experience.

The secondary use of vibroacoustic singing bowls is for concerts and soundscape settings. Due to their thinner walls, the sound is lighter than that of heavier traditional bowls—but this slim design creates an advantage. You have a lighter weight bowl, allowing you to travel with multiple second-octave bowls in a single bag. This can significantly reduce the weight and number of bags you would carry to events.

Three types of Vibroacoustic Singing Bowls

Small Size: ANAHATA (Heart) Bowl: Mainly used to activate the heart area and the upper back. These bowls feature full-rims and ring higher-pitched sounds.

Medium Size: HOLISTIC Bowl: Great for use on the whole body. These bowls have the most variety in the spectrum of sounds.

Large Size: SOUL Bowl: Primarily used for the lower parts of the body, activating the solar plexus, abdominal area, and the lower thoracic spine and sacrum with its low sounds.

(For more details about these three different types of vibroacoustic singing bowls, see the tab below)

Each bowl comes with one Hard Felt Tapping Mallet.  Click here to view a selection of other mallets available to purchase.

Crafted in a one-time limited edition, these bowls are available only until the final pieces are claimed-no future restock is planned.

Where Are the Vibroacoustic Bowls Made?

All of our Vibroacoustic Himalayan Singing Bowls are made in Kathmandu, Nepal.

In 2023, Denise and Ivan made a significant investment into Nepal, partnering with a young couple to open their own foundry. It has been a long process, but the final results are beyond everyone's expectations.

Our first goal was to use a higher quality bell bronze than the industry standard.  This creates a much warmer and more vibrant sound.

Our second goal was to work with multi-generational Himalayan singing bowl makers to refine traditional bowl-making techniques and develop a singing bowl that delivers a greater amount of vibration into the body, compared with the traditional bowls on the market that are designed primarily for concerts and sound journeys.

Our third goal was to provide a work place that exceeded standards for Nepal.  Our foundry is located on a hilltop overlooking Kathmandu. This is the view our workers have from the foundry.
